The photo on the right shows solder joints in a lead came piece. Most of my glass pieces are surrounded with a lead or zinc channel material, called came, and the intersections are soldered. For additional details see Leaded Stained Glass Design Components page below.
Some central panel sections, with many small pieces, are done using the "foil method". This uses a sticky copper foil to surround each piece of glass. Then the pieces are positioned together and a solder bead is laid down along the coffer seam.
