I have made a number of Star of David layouts. Below are shown different layouts.
The first image shows an hexagonal window hanging sitting against an interior window in our home. Adjacent sides are 9" apart. The central region contains 12 diamond shaped bevels. Six form a Star of David pattern and the other six complete the hexagonal shape. This inner hexagon is then surrounded with a 1.5" border of Spectrum Medium Blue WaterGlass ®. Within the Spectrum art glass available colors this shade is the closest to the blue usually used for Megan David items.
The outer perimeter of the panel is zinc came, for strength. Hanging hooks are attached to the zinc so it all ready to be placed in your window.
As shown this item is $95 (USD) and includes free shipping via a USPS Priority Mail - Medium Flat Rate Box to anywhere within the USA. This item is custom made. The normal lead-time is 1 to 2 weeks from the order date until I ship.
This size panel can also be shipped internationally using the First-Class Package International Service of the USPS. Send me an email if you have an international request as the shipping cost varies by country.
The next image shows a 12" square window hanging. The Star of David is made from 6 diamond shaped bevel pieces. The arranged bevels are surrounded by frosted glass and then a 1.5" border of Spectrum WaterGlass ®. This panel uses a Medium Amber Spectrum WaterGlass ®, color number 110.8W. The border can be made in many colors.
The third image is a square layout at 8.5". The six star pieces are constructed from Spectrum Medium Blue WaterGlass® color number 134W. The glass from the border to the perimeter is standard Glue Chip glass.
I also make Star of David patterns in fused glass layouts. Use your browser back arrow to return to this page. To View a fused glass Star of David layout.
As religious art this design could be seen as a Star of David or a Christmas Star design.
