At the request of some friends I started making some wood crosses since they could not find
what they wanted on the internet. I also feel that these crosses compliment the stained glass
religious art bevel crosses I've been making for many years. To view the stained bevel cross use

The basic design is a cross on a cross. The bottom layer is done in oak and the top layer is in another contrasting hardwood. The photo on the left shows a top layer cross in American Cherry (on the left) and American Walnut (on the right). The lower cross, made from oak, is shown stained with MinWax Provincial Stain, a medium dark stain. Other stains are available.

In early 2014 I introduced a new item - Fused Pendant Jewelry Crosses with a small image shown on the right.
They are made in many opal colors and are ideal small gifts at $6 per cross. Each cross is 2" in height, 1.5" wide and weigh 0.5 oz. and come in two styles: with a hook for hanging on a chain or string and without a hook for a "pocket cross". On the right is a small image of a Turquoise Blue Opal cross with hook and hanging chain.
