The fused glass pendant crosses shown on the left are 2" in height, 1.5" wide and weigh 0.5 oz.

They can be made in a wide range of opal colors. A few of the possible colors are shown on the left.

The small top hook is sized to allow a thin jewelry chain to pass through. They could also be hung on some cord or thin ribbons. You supply your own hanging material. I also make all colors in a form without a hanging hook. I call these pocket crosses. Pocket crosses are $1 less than the pendant form.

The hook is made from Kanthal A-1 17 gauge wire. Kanthal is the overall brand for Sandvik's heating technology products and services. It is also the trademark for a family of iron-chromium-aluminum (FeCrAl) alloys used in a wide range of resistance and high-temperature applications. Kanthal A-1 wire has no nickel content. It is ideal for fused glass work where the glass forming is usually done at a temperature of about 1400 °F. Kanthal A-1 is rated to 2550 °F. I buy in bulk from a Canadian supplier.

Suction cups for hanging a pendant cross on a window or an interior smooth surface are available for an addition cost of 25 cents each. One of the photos below show a sample.

The opal colors shown in the photo on the left, using the Spectrum Company sheet glass names, are as follows:

• top row left to right; Cobalt Blue, Turquoise Blue, and Medium Blue
• second row left to right; Alpine Blue, Woodland Brown, and Persimmon
• bottom row left to right; Stone and Amazon Green.

I also make crosses in Birthstone colors and a multi-colored cross in the colors of the Autism Puzzle. These are shown below.

• On the right are the 12 Birthstone color crosses. They are shown as pocket crosses but are also available as hanging crosses.

Packing and shipping within the continental US is $2.50 for the first cross and $0.50 for each additional cross. They are shipped USPS.
