The blue, yellow and white glasses are opals. When viewed as a wall hanging, without back lighting, you only see reflected light from the outer surface of the glass. When viewed with backlighting, as in a window setting, you see the interior colors in the glass. This especially changes what the human eye sees for the blue and yellow glasses. The white opal has a softer feel to it when back lite.
