My name is George McGinn of Durham, North Carolina. The photo on the right shows me in my studio a few years ago. I do a wide range of designs, some with a Frank Lloyd Wright influence in layout and limited color use. Others use lots of bevels for that ideal suncatcher. I have designs with a religious art influence for those of the Christian and Jewish traditions. My custom pieces are ideal for home remodeling projects since they can be made in a range of sizes to fit existing spaces. I also do some handmade hardwood furniture items.
For custom work I always offer a firm quote to a client, once a design is set, with the quote good for 30 days. Use this link to see information on How does the custom panel process work?.

Below are photographs of some designs. On top row left is a transom, in the case shown made in
two sections for shipping ease. On the top row right is a large bevel cluster. On the second row left is
a small hanging, 10" in diameter, made from 7 wine bottle bottoms. As a custom piece this
is a unique low cost item currently priced at $65 plus shipping. On the second row right is the central bevel cluster
for a hexagonal suncatcher panel. It is made from 27 diamond bevels, 3 cut in half. The cluster is 9.5" across.
These along with many other designs can be seen on the Custom Stained Glass Designs page.
