Custom Handmade Hardwood Cross on Cross - with or without a dove

At the request of some friends I started making some wood crosses since they could not find what they wanted on the internet. I also feel that these crosses compliment the stained glass religious art bevel crosses I've been making for many years. The basic design is a cross on a cross. The bottom layer is done in oak and the top layer is in another contrasting hardwood. The photo on the left shows a top layer cross in American Cherry (on the left) and American Walnut (on the right). The lower cross, made from oak, is shown stained with MinWax Provincial Stain, a medium dark stain. Other stains are available.

Features are:

• The photo on the left shows the small size cross which has a width of 5" and a length of 8".
• The photo on the right shows the larger cross which has a width of 7.5" and a length of 12".
• All the crosses have a "keyhole" slot in the back for mounting flat to a wall.
• The dove with olive branch is an option and adds $2.50 to the cost of the cross.

By special order other hardwoods are available in either size. I would also accept special orders for other sizes to meet your special needs.
