A custom handmade hardwood Mission style cocktail table made from solid mahogany. The top is
20" by 40", the table is 17" high and the lower shelf is 5.5" off the floor.
I made this Mission style table out of solid mahogany instead of the usual oak used for Mission style furniture. This seemed to give the piece a "richer" look. The top is 8/4 wood, actual dimension is 1 13/16" thick, with a single seam in the middle. The top alone weighs 35 lb. The total table is about 60 lbs. I wanted the piece to last a few hundred years. It could be made in Red Oak, Cherry, American Walnut, and Mahogany. Those interested in a less costly layout could select a 5/4 wood top.
The table, ships in two pieces, the top and the base, and is at the size limit for FedEx ground. A matching end table is available which is 20" by 26" and 25" high.
